A little about us…

I started Guji with my sister Sarah in late 2023. We set out to share with Melbourne, the very best of what Ethiopian cuisine has to offer and to highlight our mums amazing injera bread.

We started off with our very first market at Carlton Farmers Market in August 2023. Since then we’ve traded at markets & festivals all across Melbourne every weekend (almost). I now run Guji with my husband Aleks but we’ll always be a family business.

We’re now focused on continuing to share our love of Ethiopian food and injera through catering and our injera bakery. We’ve just moved into our very own custom kitchen and we’re excited to be able to do more and expand our offerings including new menu items.

We pride ourselves on always cooking fresh, flavour packed dishes that we put our heart and soul into. Ethiopian food can be a labour of love sometimes and we never take short cuts. We aim to exceed expectations and our customer satisfaction is our top priority.
